Duck Creek is the best campground in Utah so far! The scenery is beautiful, sites are super spacious & clean (excellent distance from neighbors on all sides) and it is very peaceful! The hosts are super friendly & do an awesome job at keeping the bathrooms clean and always stocked with toilet paper.
We hiked the Lost Hunter Trail, which starts right at the campground. It leads to beautiful meadows with tall, majestic pine trees & aspen trees all around. We also drove out to hike the trail to Cascade Falls - this is a must see waterfall! Plenty of water there this summer - it was astonishingly beautiful. We also took the family to crawl through the volcanic lava tubes at Mammoth Cave - definitely need a headlamp or flashlights for this one. The lava tubes are not that long, and for those that like adventure or crawling through tight spaces, it'll be fun. And we attempted to hike the trails at Cedar Breaks but unfortunately this year, all the trails were still snowed in. We were able to get nice views from the outlook viewpoint areas only.
Duck Creek says it is bear country, but there were no sightings of bears at all. The campgrounds don't even have bear lockers, so I imagine they do not frequent the area much, if at all.
All in all, would definitely go there again!!

This campground provided good access to Zion National Park and Cedar Breaks National Monument. We had a lovely site for our tent in a group of pine trees. It was quiet and we often saw deer passing nearby. If the bathrooms had showers it would have been even better.

campsite that was reserved was overbooked. The site was given to someone else and was told it was the reservation system fault. the host, John stated he had an empty site that is used for other camphost that was vacant that i could camp in although it was in an undesirable location. since i had already driven 4 hours to location, and did not want to return home, took the spot.
the next day, i was rudely awoken by the most obnoxious male, Joe Meyers, district Manager, who began yelling at me that i needed to vacate the site, as i was not allowed there. i tried to explain his host manager placed me there, but this incompetent man did not want to hear it and stated i needed to pack everything up and move to another site. i can not say enough about how rude and discourteous this Joe Meyers was. This so called District Manager should be removed from his position, as he has zero customer service skills.
Another Camp host stated that Joe constantly is being complained on, and tries and pick fights with the campers for no reason.
I would not recommend this campsite at all due to the rude and incompetent behavior of Joe Meyers
