Highlights- Such an incredible area! The scenic drive in from Cedar City was beautiful, and we loved that the location served as a hub for other surrounding area highlights (Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, etc.) Quick access to the lake, Navajo Lake Loop trail and the Virgin River Rim Trail, Duck Creek Village (grab a fresh donut and hot coffee at Higher Grounds Java and stroll around Aspen Mirror Lake), Cascade Falls, etc. Our site had some tree coverage, but other sites were very exposed.
Lowlights- several of the neighbors had TERRIBLE camping etiquette! Loud well after 10pm (shouting, yelling, LOUD music, etc.) One group arrived at 12:30 am and set up their entire camp, slamming doors, dragging heavy items, talking loudly back and forth well after 1am. In addition, pets often incessantly barked (while campers were inside their RVs and pets were left outside) and were even left unattended at sites for periods of time. There was no camp host at this site. Oh and probably depends on the season- but the yellow jackets were SO annoying, trying to cook/eat required constant swatting away of the pesky buggers!

Really kind of run down … we were at the end of season so I get why there was no camp host … and the bees were out of control.. only stayed one night out of our two nights

Interesting trip. The park host quit after a screaming match with the managing company. They literally packed up and left. The park itself is beautiful. Great location to tour the area. If you have a motorhome make sure you get reservations on the lower loop. We have a 31 ft and were able to get onto our site (upper loop), but could see gouges in the pavement from others who dragged their bumper.

Camp Host (Dan) was friendly and attentive. Rustic but clean bathrooms. Lots of room between campsites. We were able to fit our 14 ft teardrop trailer and tow vehicle but it was tight. Lake was low due to drought, but still scenic and a great place to visit. Beautiful, cool, and peaceful location. Travel into campground on Hwy 14 from Cedar City was memorable for the scenery, wildlife, and lack of guardrails. Take your time.

Go east from Cedar City on Scenic Byway SR 14, 25 mi to the Navajo Lake road turnoff to the south. Follow the Navajo Lake road 5 mi to Navajo Lake campground.

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Senior passes must be applied at booking for discounts on single sites.
