Pine Lake Campground

Very clean and fun for the whole family

The Camp Host was non existent. Our campsite had not been cleaned when we arrived. Broken camoping chair, trash, and other clutter left bu previous occupant was still there when we arrived. We were there for 2 full days and nights and not once did we see the host making the rounds. No one enforcing quiet hours. The ATVs are out of control in the campsite and noone seems to care or regulate. Adults and kids jo-risding ATVs around the campsite at all hours. We will NEVER stay at Fish Lake again.

Beautiful location and well kept campground.

What a great camp site! We used a group camp site that had plenty of tables and space for all our tents. A short drive to Bryce Canyon and Bryce City. The lake is stocked with fish from the DWR and easy access for kayaking. Bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground. We had water on our site which was very convenient. Lots of trees for shade on the campsite as well. Please note: there was no cell service at the campsite. We were fine with that, but in case you were wondering. No garbage receptacles at the camp, but there are dumpsters at the intersection of the gravel road and paved road 5 miles before you get to the campsite.

Clean restrooms and lots of privacy. Somewhat far from Bryce, but overall a wonderful experience

we love to go to Pine Lake we go there at least once a year, more if we can get away. This year was no exception, we had a terrible experience with the camp host and hostess! we have gone for 40 years or more and this year was the worst hostess we have ever had, she told us we were breaking all the rules ( we know the rules) we have never had issues with the forest service law but she sent them into find something. which they could not find, as there were none. She had it in for us because of the last group (we found out the last day) the prior group had 4 wheelers and were riding by the fire pit! She immediately assumed we were going to be like them. (NOT) She told us she would not kick us out this time BUT WE WOULD NOT BE COMING BACK! She has no authority to do that. She really wanted to stir the pot and every day after cleaning the toilet she gave us more rules. The rules she said are on the website, well they were not. they were made up by her and her boss even had to come chat with us.. the two gentlemen that she sent in her behalf were very nice and told us we were of course welcomed back and that we were not breaking any rules. We had a great time in spite of her, she actually went behind our trailers snooping on us and told us she was cleaning up. She had nothing of ours to clean up after, we leave a clean camp better than we find it. She was not giving us a chance, our rigs were too long, we had too many vehicles, we were using the water that said for Drinking olny and we used it for that purpose only. she just was after us. I could go on because we were there from June 30 to July 6.
PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS REVIEW STOP YOU FROM GOING TO PINE LAKE AND ENJOYING YOUR STAY, IT IS JUST A WARNING FOR THE YEAR 2021 AND 2022 (she will be back) but thinks we won't ( we will be) DO NOT LET HER TAKE AWAY YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE, WE HAVE LOVED IT FOR YEARS AND WE WILL CONTINUE! There have been so many great camp hosts! enjoy it

We loved the John's Valley Group site and will definately come back another year! My grandkids loved walking to the lake and fishing with their parents. We also put kayaks on the lake and paddled around the islands. The campsite itself was clean and the bathrooms were great. We loved having our own private camp site as we can be a loud group when we all get talking. The only downside was that we couldn't have a fire and also that the water pressure in our site was minimal so we drove over to the main site to fill our jugs. But these were minor inconveniences that we could live with.
The camp hosts were so friendly and made our stay even better!
