We got there during a cold spell (ground covered in hail stones). Nice but limited our hikes. A week later would have been perfect. Campsite makes a big difference. Some spots get too crowded and noisy if rowdy family starts playing in the road.

The campground was beautiful, and clean. They have clean bathrooms, and warm showers, which are free (unlike in CA).
The host was super friendly, and it was a great trip.

5

Very well kept campground with clean restrooms and showers. A very quiet and peaceful place to rest after visiting Zion or Bryce or nearby Cedar Breaks! It did cause my allergies to go a bit crazy so just be aware of that 😊

A quiet, small campground with a very kind host this season.
I would recommend if you have a massive rv, its small & quiet. No one wants your rig on, nor your generator. Please respect the silence.

The campground is now managed by a contract company and not the National Park service. Sometime in 2021 the reservation system changed from partial camp sites available for through reservation and others walkup to ALL sites reservations only. When making reservations in early 2021 we were only able to reserve one night on recreation.gov but depended on 1-2 more nights being available via walkup sites. Upon arrival we discovered the walkup sites are no longer available. We were able to secure a second night only because the camp host helped us. Very disappointed in the reservation system.

My family had the most wonderful time here. So peaceful! We went over Labor Day weekend, and some flowers were still in bloom. It was stunning. We will be returning again!
