Everyone should be aware that you are camping at 10,300 feet. Generators may not run well at this elevation, and for some (like me) it takes a while to get use to the thin air. The campground hosts were great and the facility including hot showers were very nice and clean. They are building a new visitor center which will be great when its finished. The park has some rim trails but that's about it. If you have already been to Bryce Canyon... Cedar Breaks is a bit of a disappointment except for the clean fresh air & cooler temps.

I am glad we had reservations; we were there the very first day the campground opened for the season and the campground was full. The campground hosts were great . . . polite, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and such. The short walk along the Sunset Trail from the campground to the Sunset View Overlook was very nice for a "get-out-and-walk" experience. Although we usually don't take pets to National Parks/Monuments, we did this time. We were very glad that dogs were allowed on this trail.
Although we only stayed one night, this was our third time staying at Point Supreme; we will be back.

This is a beautiful small campground in Cedar Breaks National Monument. We were a bit nervous about whether we'd fit, but space #6 was just fine for us. We did get a few scratches on our way out, the trees aren't trimmed back as well as they could be. The bath house and showers are clean. Bicycles are NOT allowed on the trails, but there is no signage except for one sign at the campground side of one trail - no sign at the road side of the same trail or on any other trails. There are a few hikes in this small monument, all are beautiful. Take advantage of the night sky ranger programs, and dress warmly! We were there Sept. 9-13 and needed winter wear for the night talks! It got into the 50s pretty quickly after the sun went down, and the slightest breeze made it very cool.
We were surprised to get a T-Mobile signal that was enough to stream TV and do internet work fairly easily. We were expecting to have NO connectivity from all the other reviews we read.

It is quite challenging to find a decent location to pitch a tent as it is very rocky. Not impressed.
