We reserved a handicap lot and we were not disappointed. It was just a short walk to the bathroom, had electrical outlets and the visitor's center was just a shot drive. Our camp host stopped by several times to check on us, which was very nice. We happened to there on an observation night at the visitor's center. Spectacular! We would definitely return.

Campground full. Nearly all sites reserved. Felt sorry for so-called "walk-in's" circulating after 3PM to find a site. They got nothing! And for those of us with reservations there was one men's toilet and one men's shower for more than 20 male visitors!!!! Same for female visitors!!!! This is simply crazy. I had to get up before dawn to take a f_______ shower!!!!! And then after breakfast I had hike over to the visitor's center to use the restroom there because there was a line for the single toilet and sink
What the F---!!!!!
I despise the NPS.
Never again!!!!!

The ranger was very helpful and knowledgeable. There was plenty of firewood and the facilities were clean. It was a beautiful area, but I wish the camp sites were a little further apart from each other.
Other than that, it was a great experience and we will visit again.

This is a great little campground. The scenery is beautiful and just a short distance from Cedar Breaks National monument. We saw deer 🦌 and a tremendous about of wild flowers. The campground was clean and as was the restroom. There are hot showers available at no cost which we were surprised to find. The sites are fairly spaced. Some closer than others. We absolutely love this little gem of a campground and will be back in the future.

Grabbed a campsite from recreation.gov at last minute on a business trip to Vegas from Salt lake City. Easy to book via the website. Just a one night stay but it was absolutely awesome. Camp host was helpful and the rangers gave me some great advice on where to set up for some late night astro-photography under a new moon. Cedar Breaks is a favorite daytime stop of mine but a primo campsite in late September can't be beat. With hot showers and convenience facilities in the center of the campground and low crowds, early fall is the way to go at Point Supreme! Temps were a little cold but OMG the night sky was amazing! I grew up in rural Southeast Alabama and I thought I had seen clear skies before. That said, 10000 feet elevation and low humidity equals "astounding." No moon yet I was casting a shadow under star light. I plan to do this again at the first "warmer" opportunity! This place is a hidden gem. A bit of advice about using the booking system on rec.gov though...there is latency in the update of available sites. Even if the website shows a campground full, there still may be fallout availability. If you have the time and patience, and still wanna go to a specific place that is showing "full", just show up and ask the camp host. I got REALLY lucky at Arches this past October and it was even more amazing!

Incredibly beautiful campground!! The camp host was super nice and very helpful. The shower was hot and bathrooms were clean.
Our only negative was me not reading the details about the location. I was booking late so “hot showers and availability “ were my only criteria. I neglected to read the tips in the confirmation email. All that to say I was oblivious the the fact that we’re going to be staying at high altitude with crazy cold temps. There was snow on the ground in July. Therefore we were sorely ill prepared for tent camping in those temps. We bought what we needed the next day and survived the night, but it made for a fun memory. I highly, highly recommend a stay here!!!
