What Guests Are Saying
Spruces Campground offers a beautiful and serene environment with well-maintained sites, particularly praised is Spot 7 for its seclusion and amenities like flush toilets and potable water. Guests appreciate the friendly campground host, Tom, and the spaciousness of the camping areas, which are great for RVs and tents alike. While some noted issues with lake levels and noise enforcement, the overall experience is positive, highlighting the campground as a preferred destination for future visits.

I ma giving the 2 stars only for the scenery and the view. We had 2 nights reserved at spot 13 and after the first we had to leave. It was impossible to sleep at night. I recommend the management close the gates at night especially if the campsite is Full and there were even signs "Full". Until quiet hours we had to deal with the generator running right above our tent from the neighbors RV. I think may be tents should be not mixed with RVs. All night long there was a traffic of cars, trucks, RVs - you name it - making noise, throwing dust, with their headlights straight into the campers - way after midnight. This is on top of the partying, loud music and other noises. I felt like I was camping on the highway. The same story early in the morning - cars and trucks wandering around looking for spaces I guess. Will not go back.

This campground is nice, but lots of partying going on. Only a couple of sites have shade. The adjacent road is close and very busy. The camp hosts didn't enforce the 8 people max/site rule. If it was a little quieter, this place would be amazing.
