Te-ah

Campground was pretty with many trees surrounding sites, however, there were many bugs and large biting flies that were constantly swarming you. There was only one water spigot that worked to fill containers. You couldn't fill the RV tank here so we had to go to duck creek campground (6 miles up the road) to fill our tanks.

Quiet and comfortable area. We liked this campground but doesn't work water pump. That's problem.

The over all cleanliness of the camp grounds as very nice. The restrooms were always clean and stocked up with toilet paper. My family and I were very happy with our stay.

Great camp site, very clean and peaceful, good location. But unfortunately no dump station or water any where close by, you have to drive to another town to get water for your rv or to dump. Other than that the place is highly recommended.

Water didn't work on the leg we were on, bathrooms were closed, portable potties put in place were cleaned once in 7 days and were beyond disgusting. The store at Navajo lake was closed due to what we were told was a forest service induced closure. I doubt anyone reads this, but we will be looking for a new place to camp. I've been coming to te-ah for several years, and this was the worst I've ever seen it.

Such a beautiful campground. We stayed here for 5 nights. We were worried about the toilet and water situation given the other reviews, but they are misleading. There are plenty of water spigots and there's a vault toilet available. The flush toilets aren't working, but that's a luxury while camping anyways. The camp host was kind and there was firewood available for sale. The quaking aspen and Navajo Lake made this one of the more beautiful campsites, since you're nestled into the forest with plenty of space between sites (unlike some national park campgrounds where everyone is on top of each other). Highly recommend.

We stayed here 6/5-6/8/2022. This is an absolutely beautiful campground, the sites are well spaced out, very quiet, not crowded. It's not terribly far (1 hr) from the Kolob Canyon entrance to Zion which we visited (not crowded, well worth it). I did not give it 5 stars since with the drought there is no water (not sure if there will be in the future). The existing facilities were closed and replaced by port-a-potties and one overused pit toilet. We were annoyed that there was no mention of this in the Rec.gov description or a posting at the entrance. We were also annoyed that our site was littered with plastic bottle caps, cigarette butts, and other debris (which we cleaned up). The one pit toilet had an overflowing waste basket. Furthermore, in other National Forest campgrounds we have been almost always greeted by a helpful campground host, but we never saw them.

Very disappointed that the dump station is still closed (same as three years ago, restrooms closed, and no other nearby campground had functioning water supply or dump station. We've camped there numerous times over the past thirty years, beautiful site, but no longer a pleasant camping experience. Please fix it. Also the fish in Navajo Lake were killed off last year, so another reason to be there erased by questionable management. get it together you people. you are wrecking a great resource!.

Great except no water on the upper campground and restrooms were closed. Had to use portable unit.
