What Guests Are Saying
Summit View Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious campsites and clean restrooms, making it a favored choice for many visitors. However, there has been a recurring issue with the lack of potable water for the past few years, often not communicated during reservations, which has disappointed some campers. Despite these challenges, the campground remains popular for its scenic trails and group accommodations, and some guests have appreciated responsive customer service regarding refunds.

We always enjoy staying at Summit View Campground, we have done his for several years. There is not water available and no garbage dumpster for you to put your garbage. You have to bring extra water in with you and take your garbage out.

I love this campground. The camp spots are nice, the scenery is beautiful, there are wonderful bike riding trails, and it’s easy to get to town to buy something you forgot. For the past two summers, there has been no water in the campground. Last year, that was clearly indicated on the reservation website. I did not see it this year. Also new this year was a camp host who ran their generator three straight days while we were there, starting early in the morning and running well past 10 pm. If that annoys you, I recommend not staying here.

Showed up. There's no potable water even though it claims that they have it. Was unable to get a refund even though I tried for days after we left because we had no water. I'd give this zero Stars if I could.

Nice campground with roomy sites. Best thing how quite it is, even with campers in the big group area. The only thing that is disappointing is no water for the last several years, and some maintenance items like tabels needing attention.

Bring water for drinking, cleaning, and cooking! We were not told there was no water available, as the water line broke a year ago, and the Forest Service has yet to fix it. There are also lots of pesky flies around. Luckily, we brought some fly traps that helped reduce them. Other than that it was a beautiful site for our group campout.

Our family likes this campground, but we weren't informed that there was no water. All the information on the campsite information said that there would be. If you are going to advertise that there is water available, please have water available. If no water is available, please let us know.

Group site 15 works well for a group of 50 people, but it becomes less than desirable if group sites 14 and 16 are not reserved with it. With the size of todays RVs Group sites 14 and 16 are woefully inadequate. The water situation needs to be repaired. The campground is in a beautiful area but it needs some TLC.

This is the third year with no water at the campground but there is no indication of no water when you reserve a spot so it is needful to take plenty of water for your use while there. Group site 14 is listed as a group site, but the only reason it can qualify as a group site is that it has multiple tables, all in the sun, and all in disrepair. It needs to be included with 15 and 16 as one group site. I love the area but am becoming increasingly disappointed each year at the lack of attention given this campground.
