What Guests Are Saying
Willow Flat Campground is cherished for its beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly camp host, Chuck, who enhances the experience. Many visitors appreciate the lack of cell service, making it a great spot for family gatherings and outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. However, some amenities, particularly the restrooms and picnic areas, need maintenance and updates, as well as better availability for reservations.

Awesome location with plenty of shade! This site isn’t near the river but you can hear it. There is plenty of access for fishing and to play in the water if you have kids. If you have an ATV or UTV this is the place for you! Lot of hiking and off road trails. There is also zero cell service if your looking to disconnect from the electronic world. The public restroom were also super clean!

******* DON'T DRINK THE WATER*******
You should bring your own water. We went first thing in the season, and they must have chlorine shocked the water. It tasted terrible. I took some home to test what the chlorine levels were(I have a hot tub). It indicated 10ppm of chlorine. Hottub's are recommended to be around 3-5ppm. This was a good lesson for us to always bring your own water.
This is our favorite camping spot in the cache mountain range. Great place to go to.

very beautiful camp site close to a couple creeks, unique experience. However, those ATVs destroy the quieteness of the campground, noisy and dusty.

We love Willow Flat campground and have been coming annually for several years. This year the camp host called the forest rangers to investigate if I had cut down a live tree for our camp firewood. I showed the rangers the stump of the dead tree that I had cut down and they were not pleased that their time had been wasted. The camp host never spoke to me personally before making the call to the Forest service. It put a damper on our trip but I will say the camp was clean as well as the toilets. The camp hosts should have talked to me if they thought I had cut down a live tree. The whole situation could have been resolved quickly.
