Great campground! Campground official was very attentive. Water availability would have been good though.

Skull Creek is a well-maintained, quiet campground offering plenty of shade and convenient access to hiking trails, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. The sites are clean, and visitors appreciated the attentive campground staff. However, there is no water available on-site, and some facilities, like the back-in drive and toilets, could use improvements.

Skull Creek was an acceptable campground. The site we had was fairly level for our trailer. The back-in drive had very old broken up blacktop. Most of the sites appeared in similar condition. There is no water available at this campground, so bring your own. The toilets were a bit smelly if you were downwind. The campground is nice and shady, offering coolness on hot days. We could hear the highway but it was not disturbing. It is a rustic, forest service campground.
Access to the hiking trail was very convenient.

Very quite and secluded feeling. Flaming Gorge is beautiful and the fishing was awesome. Was definitely one of our better sites on our two week journey through the Flaming Gorge, Grand Tetons and Yellowstone adventure.

We stayed here for 3 nights and our experience was great! We were told ahead of time there wasn't any water on site, so we came prepared with plenty of water. The sites are well maintained. Close enough to many points of interest and the marina. Plenty of shade from the trees. We loved it!
