What Guests Are Saying

Manti Community Campground offers a generally enjoyable experience with well-kept tent spots and a peaceful, secluded environment. Many campers appreciate the respectful atmosphere and the scenic beauty, especially around Site 8 with its pond. However, some reviews highlight issues with maintenance, such as muddy conditions after rain and the need for better upkeep of facilities.

The last review when I booked this site was from 2022, and not much has changed since then. The site is spacious, but there really aren't a whole lot of level spots in this site. Also, it would be great if there was at least some non-potable water for cleaning up, but after reading the previous reviews we were prepared for this, so brought plenty of our own. There are spigots in place that are overgrown now since they are not used. I am curious to why that is, as it really would be convenient for campers to have that resource. Other than that, the campground is beautiful. We enjoyed our time there.

One word of warning to future guests... Ticks are in the area! Be aware, especially if you bring dogs.

One last thing, I have a note to those that inspect the sites: there was a lot of broken glass beer bottles that someone had set up on a tree stump and shot with their shotgun. We picked up all of the glass that we could see, but something to be aware of when inspecting the site between guest stays. The stump toward the back near the fence may have more that we did not see.

There are lots of springs and a clear-running stream into Yearns Reservoir. There are even a couple water storage tanks up on the hill above the Group Site. There is NO good reason for Manti Community Campground to be a 'dry' campground. Get some funding and install a water system! If the water quality is not up to potable standards... then post the hydrants/faucets with 'NOT FOR POTABLE USE'. But that water will still be most useful for washing up, kitchen chores, cleaning the pit toilet area, fish cleaning... and most importantly... fire prevention and putting campfires DEAD OUT.

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
