We went on a 2-day climbing trip to Maple Canyon. It was beautiful and a very quiet campground which we loved. And the climbing options and type of rocks is so unique.

Such a beautiful area with some stellar camping spots. Love the variety of drive-up sites for ease of set-up and walk-in for a bit more privacy. Wish the fire pits had a grill plate over them. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean, especially for how busy the canyon gets during peak season. The host was kind, helpful and welcoming. Be mindful of the parking restrictions for your site, it is not a suggestion but rather the reality of how many spots are available. Love coming to Maple Canyon and we are counting down the days until our next trip!

Great place to climb. It is pretty busy. If your not way into climbing consider somewhere else.

Please provide trash receptacles in the campground for both trash and recycling. Please provide camp host with firewood for purchase and fresh drinking water for purchase if water taps cannot be installed.

Maple Canyon Campground is accessible via State Route 132, which connects to US Highway 89 approximately 13 miles to the west.
Policies & Rules
General
- Caution: This is a high cliff area; exercise caution, especially with children
- RVs and trailers are not recommended
- There are no electricity, water or sewer site hookups
- Lettered sites A-F are $5/night and are available on a first come, first served basis
- Please bring your own drinking water
- This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility; please bring garbage bags
- Day users will be charged a fee of $5/vehicle
- No livestock allowed
- ATVs allowed on designated trails only
- Group site, when not reserved, is available on a first come, first served basis for $15/night
- This is a high elevation facility; Visitors traveling from lower elevations should exercise caution
