We made our reservation on line and payed our money five days in advance. When we arrived someone else was in our camp sight. Our name wasn't on the camp sight post and later when the camp host came, there was no record of confirmation that we had made a reservation! I wasn't a happy camper.

This is such a beautiful campground, especially in the Fall. The Ponderosas are majestic against the Fall foliage. The campground hostess, Bridget, is helpful and friendly.

My 9th season in Ponderosa. This was the first year Monday night (Labor Day) could be reserved instead of FF. To my surprise, the rest of the month also changed from FF to A and someone reserved the site I intended to stay in out from under me. Had I not found out at the last minute, I would have been set up for 10 days when the other folks arrived. The status’s were all changed sometime in that last week prior to Labor Day. I will pay closer attention next year as the date gets closer. Not even the campground Host was aware of the change.
Luckily I was able to find an alternate site and reserve it for the remainder of my stay.
Love the campground!!
Stayed in #6 many times, until it was decided to turn that site into a Double Site and charge a double fee. The only change made to it was adding a second table & benches. Everything else is the same as it has been for years. The available ground space is less than it used to be due to the installation of the second table on a concrete pad. Driveway is still only “single wide”.
