This is a great campground. Double check the water. It seems to be hit or miss on if their water is working. Other than that the sites are well spread out and shaded. No cell service, but that is a positive in my opinion.

Our stay at The Ponderosa was great! The Host does a great job at keeping the campground so clean! She is so friendly. The only complaint we have is when we reserved our campsite there was no mention about the potable water not being available. It was an inconvenience and I think we shouldnβt have been charged the whole price. Such a beautiful campground. We will be going back again.

Nice campground with paved roads and parking spots. The picnic table and fire pit are on a nice concrete patio. Our campsite (#3) overlooks the stream. There are several nice hiking trails is the area, but not right at the campground.

This campground surpassed our expectations in every way. Nestled in a picturesque setting, its prime location allowed us to bask in the warm sunlight during the afternoon while providing ample shaded spots perfect for relaxing during the hotter parts of the day. The balance between bright, sun-drenched areas and incredible, shaded retreats was impeccable, catering to our every need and ensuring a delightful experience throughout our stay.

NO WATER! Our poor camp host told us that she was having trouble with water Repair and was having to go into town to collect water for hand washing at the bathroom and also for cleaning up the bathrooms. She said some repairman came and looked at the part needed for repair of the water supply and left and never came back
Camp host was amazing! and very apologetic about the water. She was told it would be fixed in a few days and that was days before we showed up.
Campsite was clean and well cared for the bathrooms were amazingly clean

The campground is nice and quite. Hiking and fishing nearby. There are strict quiet times you need to obey by.

Loved the campground. Excellent host. Stayed in space 14 which was listed as a back in but we ended up driving in facing the river. Itβs a good spot for a big rig. Ours is 40 ft.
