Canyons of Escalante RV Park

We stayed at Canyons at Escalante in our travel trailer. We loved it! The grounds were lovely, the trees between spaces were a nice touch as well. We hooked up to electrical and water with no problems. Actually, we did have a problem with our water, but it was specific to our trailer, not a campsite issue. Thankfully there is a hardware store up the road where we found the supplies we needed. Phew! Escalante doesn't offer as much as a big city would, but the hardware store and restaurants nearby were great for us!

The bathrooms and shower facilities were excellent and kept clean and well stocked for the 3 days we were there.

We would absolutely stay here again! If you're in Escalante, don't miss out on the peekaboo and Spooky slot canyon hiking! Just be prepared for at least 12 miles of rough road to get there!

We had a wonderful stay at Canyons. Lindsay (owner) is so sweet and obviously strives to provide the best possible stay for her guests. The shower and laundry facilities were immaculate (I can't say that about very many RV parks) and the grounds are well-kept. Sites are close together, but no more so than most parks. The winds were howling during our stay and we appreciated the gravel roads and sites to minimize the blowing dust we experienced while boondocking in the area. Previously we stayed across the street at another park, but their facilities have gone downhill some since the local owner sold the park several years back. Canyons is our new go-to spot when needing hookups in Escalante!

I have stayed here several times over the past 6 years. The owners and hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the stay enjoyable. I try to support family owned businesses and this is one of the best. Every time I come back, they have made improvements to the campground and facilities.

Stayed in one of the small cabins with my wife for three nights. Everything was very clean in the cabin, as well as the shower/restroom/laundry facility. I forgot the owners name but she is very sweet and answered all our questions any time of day. Overall a great stay--I would come again--and would also recommend to anyone coming to Escalante!

P.s.- The RV park is about an hour from the Peakaboo/Spooky slot canyon loop hike trailhead.

We had an awesome time here. We used Canyons of Escalante as home base as we explored the amazing Escalante wilderness! Very clean and nearby bathrooms, showers and laundry. We brought an RV and hookups were up to snuff. We did not get an opportunity to stay at their on site cabins but they looked quaint and comfortable. The onsite managers were very kind and willing to help with any issues (there were none) and additional needs. We will always use this location for all of our Escalante adventures! 5-Stars! Also one of the few RV resorts with WiFi that was worth a darn.
