What Guests Are Saying
Potter's Pond offers a clean, welcoming campground with well-maintained restrooms and a peaceful environment ideal for fishing and enjoying nature. Guests appreciate the generous spacing between campsites, wildlife sightings, and good fishing opportunities. However, it's important to note the lack of drinking water and occasional noise from nearby group sites, which can affect the camping experience.

The Best time ever!! Beautiful scenery and fishing was great. The campground was clean and so were the restrooms. Been going for years. The kids favorite place.

While Potters Pond is a beautiful area, this specific spot, #5, is right next to group spot #6. I didn’t realize this and last year it was empty when I was here. This year the group occupying it took it to the next level and since there isn’t a camp host or any phone service we couldn’t address it.
What we hoped would be a relaxing 5 days enjoying the mountains was instead filled with 30+ loud obnoxious people at all hours.
Don’t get me wrong, we still had a great time camping while we were out riding the beautiful trails in the area or paddling on the pond but being at the actual campsite wasn’t pleasant.
Not sure if we will be back, but if we do we will either rent the group site ourselves or find one much further away.

We love the campsites and the mountain ranges are scenic views at Potters! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked! The ATV trails were great and with perfect weather our outing was perfect!

Always enjoy our trip up to Potters. Site 11 is right on the road near the lake. Nice but can feel busy on a holiday weekend. The bathroom is not super easy to access from this site and is shared with daytime guests. We never saw a camp hosts but maybe it doesn’t have a full time host? We will visit hopefully again.

Very beautiful. Spot #5 was roomy and had nice trees for our hammocks.

To many people in area. Camp was inundated with dust due to vehicles not traveling at the posted 5 mph limit.

The restrooms needed work they were not in the best of shape . The area around the fire pit was not usable because of the mud around it. Some feel needs to be brought in so that the water can drain away from that area. We were told that they will be working on grading the area this year to help with the water problem. With that said we love the area.
