What Guests Are Saying
Kents Lake Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, lake access for various activities, and a generally peaceful atmosphere. Many visitors appreciated the spaciousness of the campsites, which provide privacy, and noted the friendly camp host. However, there are concerns regarding the cleanliness of the restrooms and the camp host's lack of responsiveness to maintenance issues, which detracted from some experiences.

Mike, the camp host is a wonderful man. He checked every night to make sure things were in order. No one had left their campfire burning unattended, etc. The restrooms were always clean. The lake is beautiful. The camp sites are spread far enough apart that you feel secluded. Its a lovely campground. We highly recommend it.

We were at site 3. We have a 37' trailer and that was a bit of a challenge due to the trees and the curve. Not very level but we were prepared. Little walk to the shore. Fun fishing. Beautiful weather with afternoon showers. Cows woke us up one morning but weren't walking through the campsites. A beautiful doe came to visit each day.
Truck got hot climbing those last 4 miles to the campground. Breaks got hot on the way down. Take your time, watch your gauges and you will have a lovely location to relax out of the heat of the Summer. (It was 106 when we got back home and we wished we were still on the mountain!)

The camp host does nothing but replenish toilet paper. The bathrooms need to be cleaned daily and pumped and dumped. Poop on the toilet, mud , I hope, on the floor. Fire pits full of ash.
We have been camping at this location for about ten years and since this guy has been host, it’s gotten worse. I wish I would have taken time in the past 4 yrs to complain. I hoped it would get better…His excuse is that he is 76 and won’t wear his hearing aids. Well we have had enough!
I have pictures too!

I am sad to say that the camp host needs to retire or fired ~ we had 7 sites with r party a week ago ~ ever fire pit and cooking pit was filled with burnt wood ~ we also complained that the pit pots (toilets) needed to be emptied he stated that he would call ~ hell the poop was to the top of the tank ~ how did he not know that ~ as the 4 days passed I realized he does nothing other than drive around in the cart ~ add toilet paper and drive down to the lake to chat with the locals or visitors ~ this place was a shit show at best ~ I complained to the two rangers as they drove through but they stayed that it is up to you & ur company to do something ~ please do something like not renewing his contract ~ bring an inspector in ~ fire him ~ in the past 10 years I have watched this location slipping into one of the worst places to camp & all because of this host
