What Guests Are Saying

Aspen Grove offers a beautiful camping experience with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it a great choice for families and those seeking a lively atmosphere. Many reviewers appreciated the close proximity to the lake and well-maintained restrooms. However, some noted issues with noise levels from neighboring campers and concerns about site maintenance, including picnic table conditions and invasive weeds. Overall, the campground is well-regarded, though improvements are needed in certain areas.

Our site had full hookups and potable water. We were on campsite 007A and loved it. We were right next to the bathrooms and had our own water spout. The campsite table was covered and the fire pit was in good shape. The camp hosts were very nice and made sure we were ok during our stay. Our little pop up trailer and truck fit nicely in the site as we backed in. Overall a very well kept, clean bathrooms, and flushable toilets.

Aspen Grove is the campsite that fits just right. It is not too big to be loud and feel over crowded and not small to feel completely secluded. The restrooms are the best taken care of we have EVER seen and the camp hosts were so nice! Our only complaint is that 1/2 the sites on the B-loop dont have natural shade with the trees being so young in that area, but that is really our ill prep. Definitely some prime fishing at the marina a 5 min walk away and a pretty nice hiking trail to hop on to. We have recommend this site to family and friends already and look forward to coming back again!

Great campsite! Would be greater if you had more sites with electricity.

There are now three sites that have electric hook up which is great. The campground is always clean. The hosts are great. Great experience all around.

It was a great campground. We were disturbed by the concessionaire’s attitude & rules.
We paid extra to make a reservation rather than take a chance even though we were arriving on a Tuesday & departing on Thursday. The pictures on the website didn’t depict how steep part of the site was. Lots of sites were open for Tuesday - Thursday!!
We searched for the camp host, went to store (closed till Thursday) & asked maintenance staff for guidance. Another camper said it was everyone.’s days off. We switched to the open site across street. When host came back he said the rule was we lose the money paid for original site & he was to charge full price for the second site. This is definitely unethical if not illegal!
He “cut us a break since he wasn’t there.” Later he apologized but said it was the company’s rules. FIRE the concessionaire!

Truly one of the worst camping experiences we have experienced. There was a bachelor party adjacent to our campsite, they were up until 430am, well above what would be at a considerate noise level for quiet hours. Camp
Hosts did nothing to enforce this.

Beautiful spot away from the heat of summer. Our site was shady and near the bathroom (a good thing because it was kept spotless).
