Buckhorn RV Park and Resort

Great park with lots of space and beautiful views. Excellent location for exploring the Swell. Chloe and staff were so nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stop while passing through.
The exterior grounds are beautifully maintained, and the sites are spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The WiFi connection was reliable throughout our stay, which was a big plus.

My only suggestions would be for the showers and laundry area. The showers, though clean and roomy, could use better ventilation—an exhaust fan would make a big difference as they tend to get a bit steamy and damp. A small bench or shelf inside would also be helpful, since there are only two hooks and no dry spot to set toiletries.

The laundry room could also benefit from a little extra cleaning attention.

Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. The town is small, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing stopover. 4.5 stars!

We stayed here during Labor Day weekend. The cabin was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Some of the other concerns reviewers mentioned did not happen for us- long time for water to get hot in shower (did not happen), hear loud mining trucks (didn't hear that many). We mostly had the windows closed and used the A/C which worked well for us. Maybe they were on vacation due to labor day weekend, though we did notice/hear a few when we were outside. We also opted for the cabin not along the main roadside, which could make the differene. This place was conveniently located to all the activities in the Swell we wanted to go to. The customer service was also great for the few requests we had. We'd stay here again.

The staff was very accommodating. We needed a repair done and they came right over and took care of it for us. We held our family reunion here and our family really enjoyed the resort. It was central to the activities that we did. It was a very pleasant location and some of our people are even considering it for a weekend getaway.

We have been traveling across Canada & Western US in our travel trailer since Sep 3rd. We came across this campground through a Google search. The owner was welcoming and kind. We had issues with our water and sewer connection & he not only helped us with the repair but located replacement parts.
The campground is immaculate and gated 24/7. I've never seen such green grass. Picnic table enclosures for groups. Tipis and cabins available. Washrooms, showers and laundromat are exceptionally clean
