We arrived at Anderson Cove Campground and went to our site. As my husband was backing up our trailer, he hit and broke the water spigot that was near the restrooms and caused a huge geyser. The first thing I thought was, "Oh Crud! How much is this going to cost us?!?!" One of the maintenance men at the campsite witnessed the whole event. He took off in his golf cart and came back with his supervisor. They drove up to us and said, "Don't you worry about a thing. This has happened before. We will take care of it. You just have fun on your camping trip." I was totally shocked!!! They didn't charge us a penny! They came back with several other men and had it fixed quickly. We are SO grateful to them for being so understanding. EVERYONE that worked there was friendly. We had a wonderful time. The campground was very clean. I was so impressed with the restrooms. They did not smell bad at all. In fact, the air fresheners made it actually smell good! LOL! We loved everything about this campground and will definitely stay there again. (But we don't plan on doing any damage the next time!)

Great place for camping and water fun. I know we’re in a drought but hoped for better care of the use to be lawn.

The camp hosts are very unfriendly. Upon check in, the host checking us in was very rude and went through a slew of rules about pets/drinks/etc. When we purchased firewood, I was asking if fire restrictions allowed campfires and the host acted annoyed at the questions and acted like it was obvious that we could burn fires which is not always the case given the number of wildfires this season. Later that night, a neighboring campsite blasted music, had loud conversations, were obviously drinking alcohol, and had a dog that barked well into 1-2am. Apparently the rules only apply to a select few and are otherwise not enforced.

Sites have plenty of space in between. Put toilets were as clean as possible. Staff was very attentive and pleasant!!!!

This is a great camping spot for easy access to Pineview Reservoir. It is clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of shade and open space. We will definitely stay here again.

From Ogden, Utah, take 12th Street east through Ogden Canyon. Continue on Highway 39 north of Pineview Reservoir; campground is on the left side of highway.
Anderson Cove Campground is accessible via Highway 39, which runs north of Pineview Reservoir.

- This Campground is in Bear Country Store food and trash securely to avoid attracting wildlife -Failure to comply may result in fines up to $5,000 and/or imprisonment A fed bear is a dead bear
- Dogs or Domestic Pets Owners must -Control dogs by leash not to exceed 6 feet at all times -Clean up dog waste -Limit 2 dogs per site Do not allow dogs to -Threaten or attack people/animals -Interfere with people, vehicles, or property -Cause damage to vegetation or harass wildlife Dogs are not allowed in Day Use, beaches, or in/on the water
- Gates open at 6am-10pm Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided Max occupancy is 8 people per single site Reserved sites will be held until 12pm on the day following your scheduled arrival date Off-road vehicles are prohibited - Put all trash in dumpsters, if provided, or properly stored in your vehicle or bear box - Remove all personal property and trash when leaving - Unclean sites will be reported to the District Ranger LEO - Leaving food/trash in an unoccupied site may result in a $5,000 fine Cleaning fish or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited Fireworks/discharging of firearms or other explosives is not allowed No boisterous behavior. Keep noise at a reasonable level No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities
- There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends
- Trailers/Campers and RVs: No electrical hookups available. Hooking up to the power in the restrooms, even for medical devices, is strictly prohibited
- First Come First Served (FF) sites For reservable sites, reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance FF sites must be claimed in person on the day you wish to check-in Sites listed as FF does not guarantee availability, Recreation.gov does not update FF occupancy The only way to know if an FF site is available is to arrive at the campground on the day you plan to check-in Availability cannot be predicted Recommended arrival times vary by day. Weekends and holidays fill more quickly To claim an FF site, you must be present, occupy the site, and pay at that time
- Entrance pass must be shown every time you enter the park until stay has ended Park only in assigned site No parking or driving on grass. Do not cut or damage any tree or bush No other vehicles are allowed in the boat parking lot. Boat passes must be displayed Check out is at 12pm no excuses- extra vehicle/boat launch passes connected to site also expire at 12pm

- Extra Vehicle -$15 per vehicle, per day (paid on-site)Firewood -$9
- NO ALCOHOL at day use areas or beaches, failure to comply will result in a $250 fine. The campground is the only exception Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood within 10 miles of destination. For more info click here
- Please understand that camping/picnicking is an outdoor experience; we do not give refunds for weather or natural conditions Cancellations within 24 hours prior to arrival date will forfeit the entire use fee and a $10 cancellation fee No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date will not be refunded Failure to arrive at the site by 12pm the day after scheduled arrival and do not cancel the reservation, will be charged a $20 service fee and forfeit the first-night use fee
