It was a last minute for our reservation and found Perception Campground. I checked the details of the campsite and reserved. I was not sure how it would be but when we got to the campground it didn’t displeasure us. It was a great place with big campgrounds, BBQ tables, mesmerizing views and the best thing was the restrooms. In addition, customer service was excellent and you know for campfire firewood was available.
Highly recommend to try once.

The camp hosts Justin and Shelly were very nice, always checking up with us. They kept the campground so clean. They let us move to a different spot with more shade. Brought us horse shoes to play on the horseshoe pit. We will definitely come back again!!

Perception Point Campground has some awesome amenities! We stayed in one of the big group campsites with our family and enjoyed: the covered pavilion, the proximity to the river to ride inner tubes, the paved trails for walking or riding bikes/toys, and the cleanliness of the restrooms. The camp hosts are friendly and ensure everyone is obeying the rules. A great place to camp!

Camp hosts were fantastic! They were friendly and answered all of our questions. Campsite and bathrooms were clean. Usable water for hand washing. Floating the river was our favorite. We will definitely be returning.

The Group sites by the river are very nice. There are some areas where the path needs to be repaired and the volleyball court needs attention. The group site that is not near the river is in need of upkeep.

My family has been coming to this site off and on since the pavement was flat and the grandkids were truly kids. Now, over 40 years later, it’s still one of my favorites. The best part this year was interacting with the camp hosts. They were truly the best. The bathrooms were clean and the rules were followed because these two truly cared. This was our second year with them in charge. I hope they continue to accept this summer job. Their kindness I was exemplary.
