What Guests Are Saying
Ledgefork is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and attentive camp hosts, making it a favorite camping destination for many. However, there are concerns about inadequate parking, unclear check-in/check-out times, and potential safety hazards at some sites, including poor asphalt conditions. Overall, visitors appreciate the peaceful environment and cleanliness, but urge for improvements in safety and amenities.

Beautiful site. Good people. Don and his staff did a great job making us feel welcome as they always do. My advice is to take some time and pay them a visit.

It was a little rainy, but very nice time. Did a 2 1/2 hour hike one sunny day. Beautiful area, just wish they would get water back in that area. Very clean restrooms.
Don Tease the area manger was great and very helpful. along with the host Liz.
Thanks,
Greg Hyland

Well first of all, it looked like a beautiful campground. We arrived earlier then check in time, and the host was willing to let us come in early. From there it got terrible!! The campground roads are very narrow! We have a 22 foot trailer and was able to maneuver fairly well BUT we were with family who has a 45 foot fifth wheel and this campground was a nightmare for them. Tight corners, trees on the tight corners and big boulders where you need the turning radius to get into these sites! We eventually had to leave the campground after 3 hours of trying to get their fifth wheel through the campground and site. The camp host was nice, but I think she should have mentioned it at the gate before we got into this nightmare. And the BIGGEST rediculousness is that the group (UTAH RECREATION COMPANY) that manages this campground REFUSED to give us a refund, because "why should we lose money because you didn't pick a site big enough for your trailer" which we had! AND "it's not our problem that you can't drive your trailer" REDICULOUS ATTITUDE!! We probably will not be returning to this campground. The website (RECREATION.GOV) NEEDS to be more informative on how narrow this campground is and maybe have a limit on size of trailer that can fit comfortably!
