What Guests Are Saying
Ledgefork is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and attentive camp hosts, making it a favorite camping destination for many. However, there are concerns about inadequate parking, unclear check-in/check-out times, and potential safety hazards at some sites, including poor asphalt conditions. Overall, visitors appreciate the peaceful environment and cleanliness, but urge for improvements in safety and amenities.

We had a great time here at Ledgefork. Really quiet campground and the camp host Sherry was awesome! She really took care of us! The bathrooms were clean and my kids had a fantastic weekend getaway.

This is our favorite campground in the Uintas. Grounds in Loop A are beautifully shaded and rivers/streams running next to or near most sites. We had such a great time during our two-night stay, we extended another night even though that meant moving our camper! Smith and Moorehouse trailhead in campground...nice trail. Many of the reviews mention camp hose "Liz"...she did not disappoint. She went above and beyond by having and up-to-date site availability listing including recent cancellations so we knew where we could move for the extra night.
The only negative for us was the difficulty backing our 24' camper into site 20, loop A. Details said it would fit...it fit, but it took a lot of maneuvering around rocks to back it in. Had to parallel park our truck over a boulder. We have this trouble on occasion when site details/description don't match reality. We had fantastic time otherwise and our initial frustration was was quickly forgotten. Will make it a point to make this an annual trip!

Really enjoyed our time there. The site was clean and the restrooms were really well taken care of. Even my guests were amazed on how clean and fresh they were. The camp host was great one of the best we've dealt with.

Camp hosts were phenomenal and very personable. Ledgefork is my favorite place to camp in Utah. Played at the reservoir almost every day and couldn't be more happy. Bathrooms were always clean and even smelled good for the most part! Only thing that could possibly make this experience better was if they get the water issue fixed so you don't have to pack it in.

Ground is super soft for tent stakes, quite area, clean bathrooms, lots of trees.
Lake close by.
Saw deer and a moose at site.
Con: Area by fireplace and table was uneven and became a tripping hazard.

This is a great camp spot. Me and my sister and her husband have been going there for 4 yrs now. Always get the same camp spots next to each other across fromthe camp host. Have to get our reservations in January or we won't get in. Hope they get potable water soon. No water there for at least 3 yrs. We'll be back.
