The site was very nice, except for the large amounts of mosquitoes. Not just a few, but there were so many they could actually carry one away. Bug spray did not help either, they seemed to love the stuff. No campground host nor water because the taps had no knobs to turn on water.

Beautiful scenery with large number of trees. High altitude may affect some people. Good fishing many lakes within walking distance. Most sites not viable for longer motorhome/trailers, excellent for tenters.

We arrived at 250 pm. No one was there to provide a key. No signage was posted as to where we could get a key. We did find the camp host, one lake down. No one was there. My son and I waited until 430 pm for someone to show. After waiting long enough, we traveled to the ranger station in Kamas, Utah. They called the camp host. The host told them they had to run and get propane and that they would meet us there. They NEVER showed. I went down to the host site. They were there, they said they had no idea we were there. I asked them about the phone call, they said “oh, we thought that was someone else”.?..they gave us a key and said they would be around on Saturday.
Once in the tent…all I can say is that it was way over priced and over stated. It was not a pleasant trip. The bed was not a bed, it smelled and there were no outside chairs.
I will never again make a reservation and I will tell anyone I see not to either.
We spent a lot of money and got nothing for it. You should lower your price and improve the campsite.

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.

    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee.
