This was a beautiful place. The lake over the ridge was very nice and the view was lovely. It was friendly and quiet.
Will definitely visit again!!

Campsites are well spaced. Fire pit was way too close to table. Camp host did poor job restocking toilet paper; we had none for over a day.

There was no campground host at the campground. Toilets were not cleaned or restocked for 3 days. Many groups exceeded capacity and did not follow quiet hours. Once the weekend was over it was heaven.

Kayak boat launch area for lake between site 06 and bathrooms. There’s enough room temporarily park so you can drive your water gear over closer to shore and then take your truck back to your camp spot. Bathrooms were well kept during a holiday weekend. Watch out for a couple deep pot holes where the the pipe bridge allows for the creek to run under road. We saw birds including a hawk and tiny fish at the water’s edge. We didn’t find toads or catch any trout this trip. The water fill station says to boil water before consumption. Site 21 was on a hill with rocks and roots. This made it hard to have chairs set up and kids more prone to trips. Not the best site for a tent with the slope. Also, there isn’t a hammock hanging spot. There were lots of trails on the back side of camp and we had a nice distance from other camp sites. The view and being on the forest tree line was really nice. The center of the campground has a meadow with flowers and creeks for lovely exploration close by. We would absolutely visit this campground again!

Great place to go camping with plenty of space. Close enough to mirror lake to avoid the crowds. Clean and well maintained.

No camp host on site. Bathrooms were ok the first day but got really bad after that. Someone finally came through 3 days later and serviced them however the marked in the cleaning sheet that they had been there twice daily for the past 4 days.
Water station at entrance of camp. We filled our trailer and coolers. After we finished we noticed small note that it was not approved for drinking. No other options for water. That info should have been on the website. Luckily we have not had any adverse effects.

The campground itself was excellent! The fishing was great too. We caught our limit 2 of 3 days. The downside is that this year (2020), there was no on-site camp host. As such, the restrooms went 3 days straight without cleaning or restocking, the garbage dumpsters were overflowing for the majority of the week, and the drinking water did not meet state standards and had a boil order. Again, the camping was great, but the support services really need a boost.
