At the altitude of Mirror Lake, it's always a risk. When I arrived in mid-July, the ice as barely melted. So it was cool and muddy.

Mirror Lake is a beautiful and well-maintained campground, noted for its stunning scenery, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere, hiking trails, and access to the lake, making it a favorite spot for camping and fishing. However, some drawbacks include overcrowding on weekends and concerns about the cleanliness of the restrooms and trash receptacles. Overall, it remains a highly recommended destination for nature enthusiasts.

It is so stinkin crowded on the weekend. With all the money they bring in they should make more parking. If they don't make more parking then turn people away and quit letting people park willy nilly making it impossible to get in or out.

This is a great area to camp, fish, and hike. The campsites are located close to the lake for easy access and the area is beautiful.

One of the most beautiful areas you will ever visit. However, many of the sites were too small to easily accommodate a truck and mid size trailer (25 ft) , and it is difficult to determine which sites would work, by looking at the website. The campground hosts are not helpful, or even nice, and actually were quite disrespectful.
