Beautiful lake and area. Campground is in disrepair. Tables are missing benches or have broken benches. Bathrooms have a horrific chemical smell. No camp host available in the 3 days were there. Very sad to see our federal lands in such disrepair.

This is a beautiful campground, but our space was unsuitable for our trailer. The road is poorly maintained and the site was washed out, leaving it unlevel in all ways. We made it work, but beware if you have a TT. Ours is 25 foot and we still had a lot of issues.

Great location. Lots of nice campsites. We go every year here and the family loves it. Fishing was great. My grandson caught lots of rainbows and some tiger trouts.

Beautiful lake and nearby campsites. Clean. No potable water - so bring plenty.

Host was incredibly nice and the place was fantastic, it rained on us but it’s still an amazing place.

The dumpsters were overflowing with garbage and the bathrooms were not maintained. This beautiful place is not the same and I’m so disappointed that the reservations are limited to campgrounds along the road, and not along the shoreline of the lake.

What a beautiful campsite and the lake is just perfectly epic. The 10,600 ft in elevation isn't for the faint of heart but we will definitely return to the beautiful little place! The upper bathrooms really needed to be emptied (we went over Labor Day) so that was a little rough but the camp host was awesome and proved his other good reviews online!

Few campgrounds are located in a setting more spectacularly beautiful than Moosehorn Lake. Marc, the camp host, was extraordinarily helpful and friendly and went out of his way to make sure that our needs were being met. Rain gear and warm clothing are essential since, at 10,000 feet, the weather can seemingly range through all four seasons in the course of a few hours.

Great campsite! Was so nice to walk and sit by the little lake. Only downside is our campsite was really near the busy road, but at night it was really quiet so wasn't a big issue! Also lots of bathrooms near campsite was nice.
