Beautiful place to get away and the campgrounds are well kept, host is super nice. There is a nice hike (Bald Mountain Trailhead) nearby or you can just chill by the lake, fishing, kayaking. Will definitely come back.

Dumpsters were overflowing. Many campsites had significantly more people than the maximum of 8 and too many cars. Many people disregarded the quiet hours and where obnoxiously loud (ie howling, screaming etc...). road in campground is narrow and many sites are uneven, Parking a trailer can be tricky. A few sites have great lake access, others don't. If you have a lakeside site, expect to have random people wander through your site on their way to the lake.

It was much colder than we expected, and we got rained/hailed on. But the host was very kind and shared some blankets with us. The bathrooms were very clean, which was a nice surprise. Seems like there used to be functioning water spigots at that campground, but they were not working when we went. The campground was nice, quiet and uncrowded compared with Mirror Lake. We will be trying a new campground for our next Uintas camp out, but may come back to Moosehorn again in the future (better prepared than we were this time).

Moosehorn site #2 is small and slanted. Great hike on the Lofty Loop Trail.

My family and I have stayed here many times and love it. We wish that this campground had potable water like it used to.

Some of the sites are quite uneven and hard to back into. The are the opposite angle of the flow of one way road. The roads are very narrow providing little room to back in .
