What Guests Are Saying
Moosehorn offers a stunning lake and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite for families who enjoy fishing and outdoor activities. While the campground shows signs of disrepair, with issues like broken benches and maintenance concerns in the bathrooms, the friendly and helpful camp host significantly enhances the experience. Visitors appreciate the scenic beauty and are eager to return, despite some challenges with site conditions and amenities.

Nice wooded camped site. Near multiple high mountain lakes, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery.

The location is great! The campground was up kept really well. The reason that I am giving it such a low rating is that when we checked in there was someone else in our campsite even though we made a reservation 2 months in advance. It was really frustrating because we had to move our camp twice. We got put in a temporary site that someone else had already reserved then we had to move again to our original reserved site. But, other than that mix up the camp site is great!

It was marked as not safe. Moved us to Mirror Lake. Not a nice spot I may add. Then we found out the next day Moosehorn was open again, not because someone told us but because we drove by just to check. Better communication would have been nice
