We loved our camp sight and the beautiful area and really had fun!
We were however very disgusted with the overflowing trash receptacle/Bear box and the state of the outhouses. They were overly full an extremely stinky. We covered our faces when using but by the last day the fumes were so heavy with ammonia and methane it was burning our noses so we left a day early.
The camp host was absent the entirety of our stay.

A friend and I stayed at Mirror Lake the night before we started hiking the Uinta Highline Trail. I had reserved our campsite well ahead of time but a glitch in the reservation system allowed another group to reserve our site the night before for an extended stay. This issue was quickly resolved by the campsite manager and we had a nice night at Mirror Lake.

The campground wasn’t packed, but there was plenty of people enjoying the lake in August. Relatively quiet at night and I enjoyed watching the meteor shower. The lake was serene and lived up to its mirror name early in the morning before people began fishing and boating on it.

The area is gorgeous, the campground was nice, but it poured on us and we left because we didn't want to just sit in the car in the rain.

Close to the lake. My grandkids were able to see wildlife just behind our campsite.

Nice and quiet. Plenty of level spots for tents. My only negative comment would be that We arrived on a Sunday and only spent one night and the trash bins were overflowing and badly in need of being emptied. Hopefully, it was picked up monday. Plenty of warnings about keeping food/trash safe from bears in your camp, but the trash pickup situation by Rec.gov may need reviewing.

We loved our camping time at Mirror Lake. It is a perfect location for paddleboarding and hiking. We hiked to other nearby lakes and up Bald Mountain where you can see the world. There are many great camp sites close to the water. We will be back!

It expensive for what one gets and my reservation was for a double wide which said 28 ft trailer but was impossible to get backed into because of rock placement along the road. Luckily for us we could trade for a suitable spot.
