The lake is beautiful, but campsites are very close together and offer little to no privacy. It’s a good campground, but honestly there are better options in the area.

Love Mirror Lake. Favorite vacation of the year. Have come for over 50 years.
Only negative is the getting the spots we want.. It's a real challenge making reservations.
Camp Hosts were Great.

Such a beautiful place. The equestrian sites are away from all the people so we didn’t mind them at all. There were horses but they were away from us. We actually moved to site 66 becuse it was flatter and it had a little more shade. We used the awning on our trailer so it worked out fine but if I didn’t have an awning, I would bring a pop up shade structure. The wind does come through every now and again so you would need to keep your eye on the shade structure or weigh it down. We walked around the lake each day. It’s 2.1 miles.

We had a great time. Close to the lake, firewood available at the camp host but you will save a little $ if you bring wood with you. We caught a few tiger trout using a worm under a clear bobber just at the edge of where the ground drops off under the water, about 30 feet from shore. The roads in the campground are a little tight so really long RVs may have a hard time navigating. Make sure you’re comfortable backing a trailer into your spot without having lots of extra room.

The toilets stunk a lot and there wasn't a host present. But everything else was amazing!!!

Camp site was advertised as a double pull through. Ended up being a double back in, with much less parking than advertised. Consequently we had to rent another site to park the second vehicle. Noted the description a maps were inaccurate for multiple sites.

I was surprised to never see a camp host. It is a large site so maybe they don’t get around. Also - can you tell the forest service not to use chain saws at 6 am ;) that was a rude wake up!! Site is well maintained and nice.
