We had a great time kayaking at the lake. The campground was clean and spacious. We also loved the hike/walk around the lake (at sunset), just beautiful!!

Beautiful campground with a stunning lake. The bathrooms are so rancid though, the smell is toxic and it permeates into the surrounding campgrounds. I’ve been camping hundreds of times and I’ve never quite experienced a bathroom this bad. Needs to bed addressed ASAP.

Beautiful Setting. Very nice campground. Lake is very crowded around the boat launch, but not crowded in other areas. Great place to kayak or paddle board. Fishing was good. We caught quite a few from the kayaks, but nothing of any size.

Penny and Paul are great camp hosts. They accommodated some of our special needs with our youth group and we’re so helpful. Thank you!

Great, clean site. We felt like we had our own space even though it was booked solid. Everything was well kept and gorgeous. Will be coming back many times in the future!

The campground is very nice. It's located right next to Mirror Lake but set back away from the parking lot and daily visitors so it feels quiet and secluded. The camp hosts are incredibly kind and helpful and keep an eye on things to make sure people are being respectful of the site and other campers.

Great campground to relax during the hot summer. Campground hosts were clueless concerning reservation policy and simply stated that entire campground was reserved. Several sites had multi day reservation with no shows on the second night. Hosts would not release these to anyone and sites simply stayed empty. A real shame considering the high demand for the sites.

Be careful when choosing your days. It is not like booking a hotel and if you think you are getting 3 nights check that you selected 4 days

Lake, forest and general location is A+. A beautiful area. Camp sites are tight; close together, but we had "good neighbors". However, bathrooms were dark and toilets dirty for both days we stayed; very smelly (even for older pit toilets). We stayed mid-week and hoped for cleaner bathrooms after the busy weekend (it's always crowded on weekends). The toilets at the lower trailhead parking lot just below the campground were especially "hold your breath" bad; flies swarming inside; seemed neglected.
