What Guests Are Saying
Soapstone Campground offers a pleasant and peaceful experience, making it a favorite for many visitors, especially those looking for a quiet retreat close to Salt Lake Valley. The sites are well-shaded, spacious, and located near the Provo River, which provides opportunities for fishing and exploring. However, some amenities need improvement, such as restroom cleanliness and the presence of a campground host for emergencies, as well as challenges for larger RVs regarding access to certain sites.

Sites have paved slots, the bathrooms had toilet paper, and the trees were thick to give privacy. The vault toilets near campsites 14-17 had short stall doors - you could look over the top.

Good camp site. Host was helpful. No water here! Provo River being so close was magical! Every lake (and there are MANY) was PACKED up and down mirror lake highway!!! Ugh.

Stayed in site 18. Had plenty of space for our 20 ft trailer and 2 Midsize SUVS. There’s a great spot for a tent that is a little separate from the table and fire pit area. It worked great for the 4 of us with a trailer, tent, and 2 dogs!
