What Guests Are Saying
Trial Lake Campground offers a beautiful and tranquil setting with spacious sites, great views, and a variety of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for families and nature enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained, with friendly camp hosts who go out of their way to assist visitors. However, the lack of running water and some tight parking situations for larger trailers were noted as drawbacks. Overall, it's a popular choice for a relaxing outdoor experience.

We had to park along the road. There was no place to pull our car onto the campsite, which decreased our privacy and our safety as we unloaded the car. The campsite was pleasant and had a great view, but our campsite was the shortcut for people headed to the privy. We loved Trial Lake and plan to return, but not to this campsite unless you are hoping for lots of uninvited guests.

Camp sites are very close together.
Rest rooms were clean.
Water spigots throughout the campground but we’re not turned on. Had to get fresh water at different campground.

The campground was okay, but there needs to be some improvements made in the areas where tents can be set up. There wasn't a level spot in the two units we used which is unusual for the Forest Service as we've stayed many times in other campgrounds they operate.

Close to the lake. The host kept the rules for parking and quiet time. There was a crying baby that woke us up one night. The experience overall was great.

The campsite next to us had 4 cars with lots of people (and children) causing a lot of noise! It seems the number of occupants in each campsite should be limited. Otherwise a very good experience.
