What Guests Are Saying
Trial Lake Campground offers a beautiful and tranquil setting with spacious sites, great views, and a variety of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for families and nature enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained, with friendly camp hosts who go out of their way to assist visitors. However, the lack of running water and some tight parking situations for larger trailers were noted as drawbacks. Overall, it's a popular choice for a relaxing outdoor experience.

The campground is beautiful, but it is an older campground not designed for trailers like we had, so parking was a little difficult. Also, there is currently no drinking water. With all of the fees we pay to use the Mirror Lake Highway and services, it would be nice to see that repaired. Still, we had a great time with our family in a beautiful location.

This lake is beautiful. We have stayed here in the past and enjoy the site every time. Camp host was nice and not bothersome.
I highly recommend this lake.

Had a great time at this campground. Spent a day hiking the trail that goes out from the campground and it was beautiful with multiple scenic spots so you could hike as near or far as you pleased. The pit bathrooms were clean with plenty of toilet paper. Giving 4 stars rather than 5 because there weren't flat tent spots in our double site 23/24 so our tents were setup at a slant which isn't the worst thing to go wrong, but wasn't the greatest while trying to sleep. We also felt misinformed after being told that the double site did not in fact include 2 parking spots and we needed to pay an extra fee/night for a second car because the double site is charged as a single site. Again, this wasn't the worst news and we weren't bothered to pay the extra fee/night for an extra car rather than double/night for the site, but this was unexpected and would've been nice to plan for beforehand. Overall, we had a great stay and are looking forward to our next visit.

Was very disapointed to find out there was no drinking water at the campground. Plus camp host was pretty much a battle ax. She could of been more help and less focused on the camp rules. She did a great job at keeping the restrooms stocked and clean. If you have water at camp but something changes about the water, would be great to get an email with the heads up.

It is a pretty campground. The lake is nice for paddle boards and canoes because there are no power boats. Only complaint is the full charge for camping but no water. The trash service and bathrooms were very helpful though.
