What Guests Are Saying
Trial Lake Campground offers a beautiful and tranquil setting with spacious sites, great views, and a variety of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for families and nature enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained, with friendly camp hosts who go out of their way to assist visitors. However, the lack of running water and some tight parking situations for larger trailers were noted as drawbacks. Overall, it's a popular choice for a relaxing outdoor experience.

A beautiful campground with amazing views. This is one of our favorite places to visit. Great for kayaking and paddle boards. Fishing is usually fantastic. The only downside is no potable water so plan ahead.

It’s a pretty nice campground overall. The lake is really nice. It is pretty difficult to shore fish from anywhere other the dam area. There’s a lot of driftwood, dead trees, rocks and shallow spots so it’s easy to snag and the is fishing tackle trash all over because of this. The campground has a lot of nice spots, some better than others. The spot we chose was a little close to our neighbors and not ideal when looking to get away from people. Most of the spots here will not accommodate larger trailers easily. Small, tent trailers or tent camping is ideal for most of the spots I saw. There are some spots that will accommodate some medium sized RV trailers. Overall the trip didn’t feel terribly crowded, but it definitely feels like a bit of a yuppy tourist trap if you’re really wanting to get away from people. Peak season the weather is perfect and it’s great to get out of the heat. The lake is excellent for paddle boarding and there are some fun little bays to navigate and explore
