Such a beautiful campground. We will definitely be back. Make sure you keep an eye out for the turn off sign. It’s very easy to drive right past it.

Nothing but great things to say about the facilities, particularly the bathrooms. Tidy and well-maintained. However, there were insane amounts of gnats and mosquitos (at dawn and dusk) when we camped there in mid-July; really only tenable if you have a camper you can retreat to (not a tent).

Washington Lake is my fav. Beautiful. Access to so many trailheads Great fishing. Beautiful oh I said that already. Camp host Dennis and Karma were so nice, helpful, and clean restrooms.5* I think Washington lake has the nicest camp sites of all the lakes. Only problem with it is everyone thinks the same so it’s hard to get a camp site.

I went to Washington lake well before camping sites were developed. It’s beautiful and we very much enjoy going.

We accessed the lake near a campsite on the other side of the loop from ours. We asked the people at the site if we could park there for a bit while our kids played at the lake. They were fine with it, but the camp host said that they'd be charged an extra vehicle fee. I found that a ridiculous requirement since we had already paid for our own site. We had to tote our little kayaks all the way from our site over to the lake.
We were also camped next to "Ken" who was certain our 2 6 year old kids were going to cause some sort of mayhem. When you get old people, try not to become a "Ken" or a "Karen".
We loved everything else except the bugs. Kids had a great time.
