What Guests Are Saying

White House Campground offers a beautiful and quiet setting with excellent access to scenic hiking trails like the White House and Nautilus trails. The facilities are well-maintained, featuring level campsites with stunning views, although potable water isn't available on-site. While the gravel road can be rough and the electronic payment system may cause confusion, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a desirable spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

Love everything about the campground except the pay online with your phone. I was able to do it but I met a lot of people there who couldn't get it to work or their only means of paying was with cash. Plus, there were only tags available for daytime use. Nothing was there for campers to hang a tag on the post of their campsite.
If you go there, be sure to download the rec.gov app before you get there. Cell service is very sketchy out there.

Loved the out of the way campground.
We had to walk up hill for a cell signal to confirm reservation for the night. Other campers told us about signal and we spread the word to others as they came in.
This camp is a drop off point to hike into Paria Gulch area. Good spot to camp two nights, if your lucky and win a day hike to the "Wave"

Beautiful site, we enjoyed our visit. The only downside was the couple of times people arrived late and were noisy setting up, and one party that really was there just to party one night. But most were serious hikers or backpackers and very quiet setting out in the morning. The bathrooms were very clean, thank you for that!
Vermillion Cliffs was beautiful, try for the lottery for the Wave, it was amazing! You definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle.
