Under Canvas Lake Powell

Our experience here has been the best compromise for me and my wife. My wife surprised me for my birthday by meeting up with some of our best friends to accompany us. The accommodations were simple, yet elegant. We love the beds, yert and the wood fire heater. All of the excursions through the customer service were a blast. The staff on site were extremely friendly and helpful with all of our needs. Lastly, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Every night offered a dinner special, and it did not disappoint especially hesting by a campfire outside under the stars. We look forward to our next adventure at another Under the Canvas in other states.

I enjoyed a wonderful weekend away with some girlfriends a few weeks back and can't stop thinking about it! The site was absolutely gorgeous - and my stay was perfect. Each tent was comfortable, cozy, and was the most wonderful home away from home for the 4 days I was there. The staff was exceptional, warm, and friendly throughout, and the food and drinks were delicious and worth every penny. I enjoyed exploring a slot canyon right on the property and was amazed to see as many stars as I did each night, Top all of this off with free s'mores and cozy firepits each night, craft projects, and views for miles...it was a vacation to remember. I can't wait to come back!

Unique experience, in beautifully well equipped tents with proper toilets, and hot showers, and incredible views. Highly recommend the stargazer tent, we saw several shooting stars while lying in bed at night, including a flaming shooting star, it felt magical. The staff were really helpful and brought a cool box and ice which kept my medication and drinks cold all night. The food for dinner and breakfast was tasty with a few different vegetarian options. They even had a live singer with a guitar in the evening which we could listen to while eating dinner around the fire pits. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Tent amenities are fantastic. The wood burning heater really added to my experience and is quite a bit warming than an electric heater if you don't mind getting up to stoke it in the night. The location overlooks a beautiful canyon and gives you a great view of the milky way. Having an onsite restaurant is incredibly convenient. The staff was wonderful and made good recommendations for activities based on our group's dynamic. I wish there were private firepits near the tents rather than just shared fires at the common area so that I could have a private experience with my family and cook my own food over the fire. Nonetheless, I plan to stay at more Under Canvas locations in the future and have already raved about it to friends and family (which is very out of character for me)

Our stay at Under Canvas Lake Powell - Grand Staircase was unforgettable, thanks in large part to the exceptional staff, especially Dalton, the night auditor with absolutely immaculate vibes. He went above and beyond, graciously hauling our heavy bags and cooler from our tent, making sure we had fresh ice for the road and hooked us up with some very cool swag available on-site for purchase. His helpfulness and chill energy was a great send off from this magical property

The accommodations were stunning.. thoughtfully designed tents, incredibly comfortable beds, and peaceful surroundings that came alive under a sky full of stars.

Special shoutout to Jo at check-in, whose warm welcome instantly made us feel at home and got us oriented with the property without a hitch.

Can’t recommend this place and its staff attention to detail enough.
