What Guests Are Saying
Sunglow Campground is a beautiful and private spot, well-maintained with clean bathrooms and well-marked trails. Visitors appreciate the serene setting, proximity to Capitol Reef National Park, and the enjoyable amenities, such as a creek and stargazing opportunities. While mosquitoes were noted as a minor issue, overall, guests found it a delightful place to camp, with many eager to return.

This was a spectacular one-night visit. Next time we'll spend much more at Sun Glow.

Very small campground that was quiet and private. The sites were of decent size.
I would recommend this campground as long as you're comfortable with no electricity.
Water was easily accessible at spigots at each campsite.
This was a 25 minutes drive from Capital Reef National Park.
No large cities around so purchase your groceries elsewhere before arrival or you will pay a stiff premium.
Keep in mind the campground is 1st come 1st serve and only had a few sites so don't be surprised if it's full. We were there June 15-17 and it was full each night we were there.

With the recent flash floods, the canyon above camp is a bit of a mess with boulders. It made for some fun scrambling, but it takes some effort to hike far up the canyon. The drainage to the west of the campground is still an easier hike. There is another trail half way between camp and the blacktop, but we didn't have a chance to check it out.

Beautiful and secluded. If you have an Rv or trailer then choose a group camp just for ease of parking, and group site A is a bit nicer. Spickets at every campsite is a huge plus. Seems to be the only campsite in the area that if using a trailer or RV allows you the amenities of a campsite without the overcrowding of an RV park, and with beautiful desert scenery as opposed to Forrest scenery. Quiet during the week. A truly great option for a few relaxing desert nights.

The Group B site was great. Trees, close to restrooms, several tent spots. We had a great time!

Great option for people looking for a group site big enough for 5 campers of any size. Beautiful setting and fun for kids.
