Antelope Flat (Ashley National Forest, UT)

We were hoping to see the stars well without light pollution but the bathroom lights were super bright and on all night making it more difficult to enjoy the sky. Also, the dirt road into the campsite caused rocks to be flung at our trailer and damaged our trailer.

It was a quiet time

We used a group site for a family reunion. We brought some tarps and accessories anticipating high winds in the evenings. We planned to create some wind breaks for the shelter. However, we didn't not know the shelters are mesh and when it rained we were getting wet. The tarps were then reused to cover the shelter to keep our group activities and equipment dry. We had just one tarp for a wind break, but we survived it. It was a beautiful place to camp and the water was a lot of fun.

The Camp hosts were amazing! They were very accommodating with our big group and helped get everything situated to make sure we had a good weekend. On the maps it seems like you’re on the waters edge, but not quite. The water is a very close drive down the ramp though and has a good beach. The campsites themselves are a tight fit with trailers not because they are small but because there are concrete barriers spread out to make paths and they make it hard to maneuver a trailer. But other than that the site was great! And the hosts even better!

I had reserved my spot online. Upon arrival I seen that the camp was very small. The tent landing wasn't big enough for my tent, the parking spot was tight and shallow, and there was no canopy.
Just down the road was a bunch of open camp sites much nicer. So I went and spoke to the camp host. She was very polite and was very open to me trading up camp sites to make our stay more comfartable.
She came around and checked on us after we setup camp and was very helpful.
The campground was well maintained and we had a great stay. The boat ramp being at the camp was good to as we were there doing a kayak fishing tournement. Great access to the water. The bathrooms were decent too. I will definetely stay there again.

Too expensive for no trees and a grouchy campground hostesss

Campground is rundown. They should turn it over to the State to make a new State Park.

Overall the camp was unkempt and run down. Camp sites were littered with trash. The camp host allowed a large group to loudly celebrate hours past the quiet hour of 10pm, blasting music and hollering, preventing us from sleeping until well after midnight, both nights were there. The sun shades were a welcome feature.

Really fun quick access to water activities. Highly recommended if you have a boat or jet skis. Takes 5 minutes to put them in the water and if you want you can leave them anchored off shore for even quicker access. A little barren but honestly, there was a lot more vegetation than I was expecting
