We like the location and proximity to the marina for our annual trip. I have military pass too, but cannot get a discount with the current system to pay on line. I am 62 and I will apply for the senior pass. Why can’t I use my military status for a discount? My point is the ridiculous fees for a PRIMITIVE SITE and water that is yet to be turned on in the campground.

The camp host was a good and friendly man.

The host was wonderful, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Just be aware that the ground is very rocky, which makes it quite difficult to drive stakes into the soil, I had a hard time getting my tent set up.

The photo showing for site 008 is not that campsite. There was no pull off as shown on the photo. The picnic table was damaged and only had one bench. We never did talk to I can’t post. We may have been able to change spots, but never saw a host. The tent spot is really nice at this location. It is close to the restroom and the marina.

Campground was clean and had a decent amount of pinion trees for shade and visually blocking your neighbors. Proximity to the boat ramp was nice.

We have been staying here for years. It is a beautiful place but the quality of the campground is deteriorating. The picnic tables are so worn and splitting that it’s dangerous. There were bolts on the underside of the tables that you can cut yourself on. Fire pits were not cleaned out and there was trash around. We all know out houses smell but these were next level. Just don’t pick a site anywhere near them or you will smell them all day and night.
Also it needs to be reinforced that generators are shut off at 10!! Lastly, the Camp Host were “Off Duty” the entire 4 day we were there.
