What Guests Are Saying

Cedar Springs Campground is praised for its beautiful location near the marina, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many reviews highlight the spaciousness and privacy of the sites, along with the well-maintained vault toilets. However, some concerns include the need for better picnic tables, the absence of running water and showers, and the campground's pricing. Overall, it remains a favorite spot for many campers.

The campground was nice, but spartan. The campground manager was EXCELLENT--really nice guy and super helpful. It was dusty and the picnic tables' paint has peeled and exposed wood is splintery and uneven. How hard would it be to put in some bathrooms with running water, flush toilets, and maybe even a hot shower?

We love this campground! Gorgeous space, the camp sites have enough trees between each one that it still feels private- clearly not dispersed camping, but about as private as a campground can be. The camp hosts keep the bathrooms, vault toilets rather (and there are several) immaculate. It’s a gorgeous area, a short bike ride down the hill to the Snag for some live music and lunch on the water, the boat ramp is right there, and there are several double sites for large groups and boat parking. Hands down our favorite campground on the Flaming George.

Clean campsite, clean bathrooms, great host. We were able to use the deer run showers and they were wonderful as well. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

We like the location and proximity to the marina for our annual trip. I have military pass too, but cannot get a discount with the current system to pay on line. I am 62 and I will apply for the senior pass. Why can’t I use my military status for a discount? My point is the ridiculous fees for a PRIMITIVE SITE and water that is yet to be turned on in the campground.

The camp host was a good and friendly man.

The host was wonderful, and the location is absolutely beautiful. Just be aware that the ground is very rocky, which makes it quite difficult to drive stakes into the soil, I had a hard time getting my tent set up.

The photo showing for site 008 is not that campsite. There was no pull off as shown on the photo. The picnic table was damaged and only had one bench. We never did talk to I can’t post. We may have been able to change spots, but never saw a host. The tent spot is really nice at this location. It is close to the restroom and the marina.
