What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Springs Campground offers a beautiful and scenic location with well-spaced sites that provide good privacy, making it a great choice for campers. The campground is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and friendly hosts, particularly Mitch, who is highly praised for his helpfulness. While some amenities like picnic tables and water access need improvement, the overall experience is enjoyable, especially for those looking to explore nearby attractions and enjoy activities at the marina.

We were visited by a bear three nights. The bear destroyed our camp in its search for food and wrecked a storage bin and tipped over our drinking water container. It climbed on the table and dirtied our tablecloth. I still gave four stars due to the beauty of the surroundings, but the DWR should have done a better job of controlling the wildlife. An adjacent camper carried a 9 mm handgun for protection.

We booked 5 sites in Cedar Springs campground, for a youth group. We had a great time. Because of the location of the camp sites, we were somewhat secluded from the rest of the campground, so not to bother other campers. Everything was perfect! Restrooms and water spigots were easily accessible. The camp Hosts were friendly and helpful! Nice having the marina so close as well. It was a fun filled, rewarding trip, for all who came. Plan to do it again next year!
I only have one concern. It has nothing to do with the campground or forest service. I was really disappointed with the Utah DNR. No one asked or checked any of our watercrafts, to see where they had been in the last month. With the devastation that the muscles have in some of our reservoirs, you would think that they would do everything to protect the great waters of Flaming Gorge and its tributaries. We also had the same experience at beautiful Bear Lake, 2 weeks prior! Shame on Utah and Idaho!!! If you read this, please pass the word!

Camp hosts were amazing and really took good care of the facilities. We really appreciate that. it would be so nice to have electrical hookups at the very least, as temperatures are rising and people are using noisy generators more and more. Site 8 is listed as a pull through and it really is not. The erosion around the asphalt is dangerous especially at night because of the drop off. It is so easy to roll and ankle or trip.
We love the location and will be back.

A great peaceful campground in the gorge. The hosts are great and the non-party vibe in this campground is excellent. I hope it continues to stay this way!

Bathrooms clean, camp hosts very nice, and our site was clean. Grab a raft at Flaming Gorge Resort and float the Green River, or rent a boat at Cedar Springs Marina to beat the heat and enjoy the water..
