We were there with our visiting relatives from Germany. We had a Motorhome and they had a couple tents. Do to traffic, they ended up getting there late and had to self check-in. The process for them was very easy and they were able to find a very nice campsite for the night.
We arrived before the check-in closed. It was very easy for us as well and the folks were very pleasurable and a real joy to interact with. Our site was spacious and clean. I really like how all the sites have a solid wind-block for you.
We will be coming back for a longer stay so i can go fishing and we can explore the surrounding area more.

Showers are slimy and unclean need to be scrubbed walls and floors and disinfected. Red fleet campgrounds showers are way better.

The parking spots are big, and even had a seperate spot for our truck once we unhooked the trailer. It's nice to have electricity so we can run the microwave or even A/C we we needed it.

The facilities were great. All sites now have full electric hook ups, standard, 30 amp and 50 amp which was very nice as we thought we only would have standard electric at our site. The new picnic tables and pads were very nice and it looks like there will be fences and roofs on all when they are done upgrading. We also were able to fill up with Water at the onsite dump station when we arrived and dumped when we left. So we overall really enjoyed our camp out!!!

Getting There
From Manila, Utah: Follow Highway 43 for 2.6 mi to the state line, where Highway 43 becomes Wyoming Highway 530. Follow Wyoming 530 for 1.3 mi to Lucerne Valley Road/Forest Road 146. Continue on this road approximately 4 mi to the campground.
Highway access
Lucerne Campground is accessible via Highway 43 and Wyoming Highway 530. Highway 43 connects to the area from Manila, Utah.
Policies & Rules
General
- The single site fee covers the cost of 1 vehicle. Each single site's maximum capacity is 2 vehicles. There will be an extra vehicle fee for the second vehicle collected on site. 2 vehicles = 1 sleeping unit (trailer, pop-up, pickup camper, RV, etc) + 1 passenger vehicle or 2 passenger vehicles. There is not room for 2 sleeping units.
- Entry Booth is open. Phone 435-784-3038 leave a message prior to for late arrivals and info.
- Drinking water available from April 1 through November 1 only
- Fee required for dump station use.
- All Sites in Loops A, B, C & D meet accepted Accessibility standards and may be reserved by anyone

- Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
