We had a great time. The camp hosts keep everything so well cared for. It is really green up there right now, so we had a beautiful and peaceful spot.

There were some good trails and we really enjoyed the hiking in this area. The reservoir was closed due to an algae bloom so that really limited the activities while we were there. The facilities were ok, it did have running water which was nice.
The campsites are WAY to close together. We had people walking through ours to get to theirs and we could hear conversations from the groups next to us, all night long. Then were woken up each morning to a kid blowing a whistle, for hours.
The camp hosts were pushy and rude about many things, ESPECIALLY the parking. They were at our campsite every morning at 8 am asking for more money because we had TWO cars at the site. If you don't want to pay extra and have the camp hosts knocking on your tent every morning with their hand out, you have to park at the entrance of the campground and walk in. If you don't park your car at the entrance first thing in the morning you will not be able to find a spot, anywhere!
We brought our dogs with us (a small dog and a lab). They are well-behaved, well trained, sweet dogs, but they had to be leashed, even in our own campsite. This was another thing the Camp Hosts would fuss about. They would WALK INTO OUR CAMPSITE and tell us to chain our dogs. Even if the dogs were simply sitting at our feet. There are other campsites that allow dogs to be off-leash, so, if you have dogs, GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
It was not a relaxing weekend at all, and we will never be back.
