Close enough to Moab, Arches & Canyonlands Natl Park. We parked our RV here and drove into both Canyonlands and Moab with not much traffic and no worries. Reserved Sites are HUGE ( #5 & #6) and the FCFS sites were not full every night.... Dirt Road for almost 2 mi. We did see alot of off road vehicles & its a great place for horses but we had no issues with anyone. There is also a "Dinosaur Site" you can walk to.... Well worth the trip for us who like to boondock.

Perfect location for camping near Moab... We have been car camping lately (and loving IT)... We felt safe and cozy, and enjoyed watching the sunset and rise over memorial day weekend. It got pretty chilly at night, bring your socks and hoodies! <3
(Hot take: no running water or anything- realllllly stinky vault toilet- firepit with a little grill thing, picnic tables, big dumpster, and some fun little hiking trails right next to the campground)
I WOULD recommend to friends, and if/when I get back to Moab, I would totally camp here again!! Happy trails.

We drove into Courthouse Rock Campground without the trailer to check it out. It was a very nice, scenic campground, but at the time of our visit the sandy wash section of the access road felt too deep for us to comfortably tow our Airstream through.
We decided not to risk it this trip, but we would consider returning another time when road conditions are better. Hopefully the BLM can grade or flatten that section after the recent heavy rains.

There’s plenty of room to spread out between campsites, which is nice. I liked the table and covering for it,
It had rained, though, so one night I couldn’t get back in! The dips are susceptible to running water.

Campground is as described on recreation.gov, so no surprises. We reserved site 5, very spacious. Used this as our base camp for Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and the Moab area.
