This may be my favorite campground in the national parks. The sites are spread out with paved driveways. The setting and views are spectacular. You must book early because there a limited number of sites. And if you have an RV, there is no dump station or fresh water available so make sure you have enough water on board for your stay.

All of the camping spots were marked - my reservation was in place and clearly marked too. While the neighboring spots were VERY close together, there wasn’t any issue with noise and the noise curfew (10pm - 8am) was followed. The facilities were, for their age and condition, well kept. I did see one guy taking a navy shower from one of the sinks in the men’s bathroom - no rules posted against doing so. There is an outdoor sink for water and washing dishes (I didn’t see anyone washing dishes while I was there). First night was raining and lightening - glad I wasn’t in a tent. Very windy the next couple of days - dusty inside vehicles with open doors/windows. The Broken Arch Trail Viewpoint is connected to the campground and the Devil’s Garden Trailhead is next to the campground. I car camped (which is allowed). Overall, for the money, it was a great spot/deal.

The campground was clean & quiet. The host was lovely & knowledgable. Our site had no natural shade but we did bring a canopy. Very pretty scenery throughout the whole campground. We did lack cell service (Verizon) at our site but could connect when we walked to the ampitheater. Also, there is no camp store. If you rely on ice to keep your food & bev cold, you have to leave the park to get it. We enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

The permanent drivethrue from daytime visitors looking for free parking lots should be stopped.

Devils Garden is very hard to get into. It is the most beautiful campground I have ever been to. Even though no electric or water sewer hookup, it was still stunning with the views and rock formations. My only complaint is that some of the people people who reserve some of these sights do not cancel when they do not show up. There were several open sites while we stayed there for three nights in September 2024. Those no show campers are preventing others from booking. Shame on you.
