Campsite was quite tight side to side....plenty long. Gorgeous view to LaSal Mtns and sunsets the other direction. Surprise construction start the day after I arrived...beeping Bobcat all day long and could be heard far out on the trails. Absolutely aweful communication to the customers and between the different park and res.gov groups involved....shameful, actually, and they just passed it off onto the volunteer hosts.

Beautiful campsite! The campground is about 30 minutes away from the Visitor Center, so that is something to keep in mind and budget your time for. It is about a 10 minute walk from the farthest campsite (we were site 51) to the Devil's Garden Trailhead.

Firstly, the campsite was at the start of the season and the facilities had not been cleaned, the bathrooms and showers were really dirty. The land had not yet been mowed. nothing welcoming. To top it off, half of the park was inaccessible and under repair.

I was very impressed with how clean each campsite was. Every morning two rangers went through each empty campsite and pick up any tiny piece of garbage people may have not cleaned up. My only disappointment was seeing so many campsites unoccupied that were showing reserved. I understand “bots” are scooping up high demand campsites and reselling them at a profit. I’m sure the park service is aware of this and I hope something will be done about this. Other than that, we are extremely grateful and impressed with our national park service. Thank you.

Camp Hosts Laura & Skip and Patty & Jim were amazing. They were the most helpful and caring hosts we've ever experienced and we are full time RV'ers.
Site was good, bathhouse clean & well stocked, trails leading into/out of the campground, and Ranger programs many nights. We had a slight issue with leveling due to the narrow width of the pavement for the RV (22' Class C).

Awesome campground with spectacular campsites. My favorite primitive campground of our three week tour. Unfortunately very hard to get a reservation. Perfect spot for stargazing and starting a tour in the Devils Garden primitive loop trail, which I cannot recommend enough :-)
