Lots of sun so prepare shade. It was nice being by the river but don't forget that brings the wind.

Our stay at the recreation campsite along the Colorado River in Moab was absolutely wonderful. The location was stunning—nestled between towering red rock cliffs and the peaceful flow of the river, it felt like a true escape into nature. The campsite was clean, quiet, and well-managed, with easy access to hiking trails, scenic drives, and nearby national parks.
We especially loved waking up to the sound of the river and watching the sunset paint the canyon walls each evening. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax, explore, and soak in the beauty of southern Utah.
Highly recommend this site to fellow campers and outdoor lovers. We’ll definitely be back!

I was not a fan of this campground for the amount of money paid. The neighboring campgrounds did not follow the quiet hours rule. The smell from the bathroom lingered to the tent area. The garbage cans were full when we arrived. Overall disappointed with my stay.

We had planned to use this as a river takeout. Nothing indicates that isn’t possible. The river is 1/4 mile from the camp and the takeout was closed. Luckily, we took out in Moab, but we didn’t use our rather expensive camp. I do NOT recommend this camp!

When we arrived at our group site the dumpster was overflowing, the bathrooms were a mess with overflowing trash, the sign for our site was broken and laying on the ground and there was a mostly destroyed picknick table. We booked this site in advance only to find out that it's almost 1/3 the price if you show up and book it in person. The bottom line is we stayed our first night then left to find a site that was habitable.

Ok campsite. Great for groups.
Bring bug spray as bugs got bad at night.
We thought the water on the river would be by campsite but it was just muddy marsh.
No running water, bathrooms were ok.
No cell service for any carrier in this area.
Go hike corona arch.
